A Night with the Field Museum: Tap Takeover & Discussion

  • Mousetrap 1460 North Kingsbury Street Chicago, IL, 60642 United States (map)

Calling all Kings and Commoners to the village pub for a night of learning and a mini tap takeover with the Field Museum!

William A. Parkinson, Ph.D., Curator and Professor of Anthropology at the Field Museum, will kick things off, talking about about the new First Kings of Europe exhibition. We’ll follow-up from the Off Color side with a bit of discussion about Beer for Kings and Beer for Commoners; the collaboration we dreamed up together as a companion to the exhibit. And don't worry, there will be time for Q&A, so bring your most burning questions!

Adding to the nerdery, we have beer. Both collabs will be on draft for the first (!!) time along with two more Field Museum projects: our year-round lager, Tooth & Claw, and a vintage keg of our chica de molle Wari!

And that's not all! The Field Museum's official exhibit merch will be on-hand, including these two very rad and very exclusive t-shirts

Informal fun (beer, merch) starts at 6pm, with formal fun starting at 7pm. To get a feel for numbers, this will be a ticketed event (the $1 cost will be donated to the Field Museum).
