Beer for Cake

Tasting Notes

To celebrate the 8th anniversary of our Mousetrap taproom, we created this half-baked Beer for Cake, a confectionary delight inspired by German black forest cake. By folding in cocoa nibs, dark cherry juice, and lactose sugar, our Marzen lager transforms into chocolate dipped malt balls chased with kirsch cherry brandy, Although it sounds like a mouthful, the semi-sweet finish and barrage of flavors still allow the malty lager to come through. Es ist sehr lecker!
