Barrel Aged Beer for Dealing with Your job

Tasting Notes

By now we 've all realized that work is stupid. So keep your head down and stay sober enough to not get fired so you can afford this Scandinavian gløgg inspired winter spiced ale double aged in Pinot Noir barrels and on additional virgin oak. The chestnut in color will get you ready for toasting next to an open fire. A cornucopia of red fruit, cinnamon, and spice, and everything nice will unglaze your eyes from your screen and then the 12.5% abv will probably re-glaze your eyes for the push you need to get to the holiday break. At that point you can switch to drinking Beer for Dealing with Your Family. We got you covered this holiday season!

Secret Techniques

While a great deal of the barrel aging comes from a 3 month holiday in French Oak Pinot Noir barrels. But to enhance the oak character, we added medium/dark French oak infusion spirals to build additional tannic structure. The instructions said to rest for 4-6 week, we tried the beer after 5 days and then racked it off the wood on the 7th day. Just like Jesus or something.
